LB Ramon Humber returns to Bills

With 18 unrestricted free agents this offseason it was a given that the Bills wouldn't be able to re-sign them all. But on Tuesday they did agree to terms with one of them, LB Ramon Humber.

Humber, 30, agreed to terms on a one-year deal.

The veteran linebacker made nine starts for the Bills last season, the most in a single season in his career, before giving way to rookie Matt Milano later in the 2017 campaign.

Humber was productive logging 56 tackles including eight for loss, which was good for second on the team to only Jerry Hughes (12). He also had a sack, four quarterback hits and a forced fumble for the Bills last season.

He's expected to again compete for a starting role at linebacker and contribute heavily on special teams, which is where he first made a name for himself in the league.

Humber sustained a thumb injury back in Week 4 last season that required surgery, but he only missed three games before returning to the lineup.
